Archery Instructor / Support Staff

The Archery Instructor is responsible for planning and facilitating a fun, engaging and safe Archery program for groups of children aged 6-13. Decisions regarding the structure and activities of the program will be the responsibility of the individual in charge, but it is important to note that all our programming is recreational and non-competitive.

Archery is a half-day program at Camp Kirk, and the Archery Instructor therefore also acts as a Support Staff in the morning. The role of Support Staff is to provide extra support and care to individual campers or cabin groups that require it.

Qualifications
  • 19 years of age by June 19th
  • Previous experience with Archery is mandatory
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Previous experience working with children is necessary. Previous experience working with children with exceptionalities is an asset
  • First Aid/ CPR
