Cabin Counsellor

The role of Cabin Counsellor is an important one at Camp Kirk. Counsellors are responsible for the emotional and physical well being of the campers in their care, and they are the foundation of a camper’s support system while at camp.

In tandem with a co-counsellor, individuals hired for this position are expected to create a nurturing and supportive environment that meets the specialised needs of individual children, as well as groups of campers.

Co-counsellors are assigned a different cabin group each session, therefore there is the possibility to work with any and all ages groups.
